Wheelchair off high curb

If there's no ramp you can still get by even if the curb is really high. Like any curb, approach on a wheelie until you can feel the edge with your tires, adjust your hand position on your pushrims until you can LOWER yourself with control. Don't roll off, lower yourself. You can climb up any curb you can rest your castors on using the parking meter technique. Don't get stuck, practice and you can do just about anything. Warning: you can hurt yourself or damage your chair. It's a choice to take the risk. This is the highest curb I'm willing to come off until I'm rich and can afford to keep extra chairs around for fun ;-) Let me know what you think.
